About the Honor Student Banquet
Since 1959, Chamber members have united the top five-percent of graduating seniors from the area’s now 12 high schools for the Honor Student Banquet. Sponsoring companies host the student and their parent/guardian at the table for a nice meal as a keynote speaker shares advice for the students and one of the graduating seniors addresses his/her peers. The night ends with all students crossing the stage to be recognized by the business community.

One of my favorite Chamber programs is the Honor Student Banquet. I believe it is the Chamber’s finest moment every year when we honor those top five-percent of high school students from our area high schools. It’s a great event. I think I’ve been to 20 of them.
