The La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce Youth Leadership Program emphasizes leadership skills and community understanding through six sessions during the school year. The Youth Leadership Program is designed for students who will be Juniors during the 2012-2013 school year. This allows participants to put their skills to work serving their schools and communities during their senior year. It is very important for students to determine if they will have the time to commit to the program. An important trait of being a leader is personal accountability. If you are selected for the Youth Leadership Program, you will be expected to be on time and attend all sessions through the program year. However, we realize that illness and other circumstances may cause an absence. Consecutive absences or non-excused absences will not be tolerated and may result in dismissal from the program.
