Honor Student
Banquet Set for April 28
The Business and Student
Education Committee of the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce
will sponsor the 50th Annual Honor Student Banquet on
Wednesday, April 28, 7:00 p.m., at UW-L, Cartwright Center,
Valhalla. The purpose of this annual event is to pay tribute to
and honor the achievements of the top 5% of the graduating
seniors from 11 area high schools.
You can show your support of
our area youth and the importance of a good education by
sponsoring one or more of the students at a cost of $150 per
student. As a sponsor, you and a guest will attend the banquet
along with the student and his/her parent(s). All sponsors will
be listed in the program for the evening, on the table tent
mementos for the students, and acknowledged in the Chamber
newsletter.

GIVE “OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS” A TRY
Are you looking for a reasonable way to promote
your business? The Chamber invites you to participate in the
next “Opportunity Knocks” mailing on Friday, May 14. Use the
“Opportunity Knocks” mailing as a way to:

members of a new product or service

discount or coupon on a product or service

Introduce a
new employee

Advertise an
upcoming event
Print your advertisement on
one-third sheet of paper and provide the Chamber with 1,700
copies by Friday, April 30. The mailing is sent to approximately
1,700 potential customers in the community. Cost to participate
in this program is only $100. Reservations are required, and
space is limited to 12 inserts per mailing. If you would like
to participate in the next “Opportunity Knocks” mailing, please
